have heart, will listen So anticipated. So worth the wait.
A brilliant array of stories and sounds characteristic of Arrivalists recordings. Impossible to pick a favourite track. Perfectly crafted like a book you can't put down. You've such a talent! Much appreciation.

Derek Bee I discovered Arrivalists via RTE Radio 1, hooked immediately. I am not comparing this work directly to the Blue Nile, it's just that Arrivalists hits me exactly where BN did when I was a kid back in the early 80s. Favorite track: Arthritis Wedding Ring.
Promenade
Promenade thumbnail
Promenade So many great songs, but I listened to Patrick tell his story of observing an older couple on the train to/from Kilkenny and how he composed his lyrics during the journey. This song is an example of true art and a beautiful insight into true love. Thanks for such a brilliant collection of songs. Favorite track: Station Depart.

this is all that matters the books are piling up i should have read your message instead i fell asleep something in the way your light is changing something in the way your light is changing this is all that matters the books are piling up i should have made a reason even just a lie something in your light is changing something in your light that's changing this all seems the same but it ain't the same we are moving on we are moving on there's a lighter day there's lighter load for i carried on yes i carried on this is all that matters the books are piling up .
3.
sometimes you're the most beautiful trigger take the step away take the breath away sometimes you're the most fragile i am only looking in catch a glimpse of it sometimes , you're the most beautiful trigger but you're miles from home and the lights have changed it's the tearing apart it's the leaving unsaid
4.
Cities 04:00
a city in it's evening gown the light is understanding i'll take it , as it comes around a city in it's evening gown i watch it as it falls apart a hundred thousand secrets some are shared , some are kept a weight it is carried i should have said it lord know's i meant to but in a moment it's lost in the city let's get in the car travel in the rear view lights lives
5.
here we are the 2 of us i love you here we stay the 2 of us love will too mend me when i'm broken close me when my hearts ajar guide me when the lights are gone now the kids have feathered , and flown open highways , we're alone hold me , till my spirit wains i return it , just the same you're my Patsy Cline i'm your wichita line
6.
i watched you a window reflection you love her and you always will and the holding of hands can mean so much more than the holding of hands i watched you a window reflection and the stations , like years rolling by but the life , is still in her eyes and a kiss on the cheek can mean so musch more than a kiss on the cheek i watched you a window reflection at the station depart what remains is the heart and it forever will and it forever matters
7.
to watch it at the time it meant nothing more to know it over time a living photograph back when it was hidden now becomes the truth all you ever wanted just a little more we are four , we are your little triumphs we are four , we are your little triumphs little triggers send it back to the now , before and after for everything you wanted for everything you tried i'm holding to the love of it to the grace you gave us all back when it was hidden the truth becomes us all we are four , we are your little triumphs we are four , we are your little triumphs

Snowest Man 03:43
flicking through the final pages of the standing skin you're in dusting off the webs of spiders lifting stones to let it loose i am the never found i am always around long and lonely are the days i prefer to keep that way living in the silent swells living out the counted minutes i am the never found i am always around

Threads 03:42
standing in the middle of the last time lifting off the breezeblocks from the bones letting the wings fly for the last time letting something beautiful fly home waiting for the second heart , arriving and the second beating kicking in try to hold the maps the onward journey a second skin taking over these are not end of days they are just beautiful we are the threads you laid it has been beautiful
